Bashar Jazmati

Chief Finanical Officer

Bashar has over 20-years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking and commercial corporate growth focused on leading strategic venture and project development, new market entries, structured, asset and project debt financings and M&A/Equity Raising and off-balance capital management solutions.

 

Bashar’s banking and corporate role experience included leading execution and coverage teams leadership roles in Arab Banking Corporation in Paris as Manager in the Project and Structured Finance team (2000-2004), HSBC in London and Dubai as Director Sector Coverage Head within the Global Banking and Markets team Middle East and Africa (2004-2012), ANZ Bank as Sector Coverage Head for South East Asia within the Institutional Group (2012-2018).

 

Since 2018, Bashar founded and led as managing director an emerging market focused independent advisory firm, Utama Equity Pacific. In this capacity he acts as advisor to several selected major High-Grade Corporates, Financial Institutions, Family Offices and Project Sponsors with a focus on Asia Pacific and Middle East markets.   He advises on structuring funding solutions including project finance, capital assets and export credit agency funding, equity, and capital market solutions as well as Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and asset sales.  He is also providing commercial advice to major corporates on Asset Restructuring, New Project and Joint Venture identification and business line launches, with a heavy focus on the real estate sector.

 

Bashar holds an MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in France and he has been upscaling his skill sets continuously since earning his formal education.

Sammi Sciberras

Chief Operating Officer

Sammi Sciberras is a highly accomplished property leader with 24 years of experience in large-scale office, hotel, retail, and commercial property development. Specializing in mixed-use precincts and hospitality, Sammi has been instrumental in shaping some of Australia’s most iconic and innovative real estate projects across major cities such as Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, and Sydney. His expertise has been pivotal in the development of renowned locations like Pitt Street Mall, Castlereagh Street’s luxury mall, and the ‘Paris end’ of Collins Street. Throughout his career, Sammi has collaborated with leading local and international companies, including Microsoft, Marriott, and LVMH, to create world-class precincts. Notably, he has contributed to flagship assets like 80 Collins for QIC and Westfield Sydney for Scentre Group, where he played a key role in establishing the country’s largest rooftop hospitality offering.

 

Currently, Sammi serves as the General Manager of Project Leasing at QIC, where he manages major assets such as the $850 million Canberra Centre project and the $750 million Castle Towers development. His responsibilities include overseeing leasing and design teams, developing placemaking strategies, and integrating hospitality and office spaces into significant precincts. Sammi’s career highlights also include leading projects at Claremont Quarter, Castle Towers, and 80 Collins, where he successfully secured key leases and transformed these properties into premier destinations. With a strong focus on placemaking and a keen eye for top-tier hospitality, Sammi is now poised to leverage his extensive industry relationships, project experience, and leadership skills in Australia’s next groundbreaking property development.

Nathanial Rosenblum

Chief Investment Officer

Nathanial is a seasoned finance professional with a robust background in real estate investment and capital markets. A graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, he has built a diverse and impactful career, currently based in Miami, Florida. Mr. Rosenblum’s professional journey is marked by his expertise in financial analysis, real estate, and energy projects, complemented by his fluency in Hebrew and Spanish.

 

Mr. Rosenblum began his career at a private credit fund where his team was responsible for debt origination and asset management across all asset types. He issued both fixed and floating rate debt during his tenure at the firm and then progressed his career by acquiring over $1.2 billion of institutional real estate assets across the United States on behalf of domestic and international LP’s including pension funds, banks, and high net worth families. Most recently, he managed a multifamily development team overseeing a national pipeline.

 

Nathanial is now taking these experiences to manage and oversee all investment activity at Bramwell Chase and is directly responsible for the successful deployment of capital in real estate investments across the United States.

Danny Topperberg

President

Danny is a seasoned professional with deep roots in Sydney, Australia. With over 23 years of experience in the property industry, he has forged a distinguished career in Property, Resources, and International Finance. His journey began during Australia’s mining boom, where he identified the rising global demand for Australian minerals, particularly from China. This foresight led him to engage actively in the resource sector, where he successfully negotiated mineral off-take sales with Chinese state-owned enterprises.

 

As the mining industry evolved, Danny strategically diversified into the property sector. His keen market insights and extensive network have driven significant success, making him a trusted advisor and partner in the industry. His ability to anticipate market trends and commitment to excellence have been key to his achievements.

 

Danny’s influence extends well beyond Australia. He has cultivated strong relationships with government elites and influential business leaders across Asia, Israel, and the Arabian Gulf. These connections have been instrumental in his consulting roles for numerous state-owned and international companies. His expertise in real property acquisitions, property development, and business restructuring, combined with his global network, allows him to offer invaluable insights and strategies.

Currently, Danny serves on the boards of Bramwell Chase, Utama Private Equity Corporation, and several other prominent companies. His leadership and vision continue to shape the strategic direction of these organizations, ensuring their growth and success in an increasingly competitive global market.

Sidney Wheatley

Chairman

Sidney is an executive with extensive experience in forming and leading new companies from inception to profitable operating entity. He is also adept at forming private equity and acquisition strategies based on deep analysis of the underlying business model and economic environment. He also lectures, trains and mentors’ start-ups. He holds an MBA degree and is a CFA Charter holder.

Sidney is the Chief Investment Officer of the Private Office of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Salman Al-Khalifa – Kingdom of Bahrain. The Private Family Office has a wide range of activities under its umbrella including petroleum and petrochemical industries with activities ranging from trading of hydrocarbon products to building and operating recycling facilities for handling hydrocarbon waste, real estate, movie production, blockchain projects, infrastructure projects, financial services, and industrial manufacturing.

Ramzy Fenianos

Ramzy is the Chief Development Officer for APAC at Radisson Hotel Group, a subsidiary of Jin Jiang International, the world’s largest hotel group by the number of hotels and the second largest by room count. He has over eighteen years of experience in hospitality and real estate, with a focus on development, strategy, feasibility, and asset management. Ramzy’s career includes broad regional and international experience gained from roles with major firms. He is actively involved in business development, driving expansion into new markets, and providing advisory services to key decision-makers in leading market groups, public institutions, and investment firms.

Damien McConchie

Damien is a highly experienced senior business finance professional with over 25 years in the banking industry, where he has led sales and credit teams across all aspects of commercial finance and transaction management. His expertise spans debt and equity products, working with multiple industry sectors both in Australia and internationally. Damien possesses strong technical skills and has a wealth of experience in sourcing and developing new and existing business relationships, granting investment and lending approvals across the Asia-Pacific region, and managing investment exposure and credit risk. His work has included the creation of new risk platforms and products. Currently, he is in a business development role with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he has been for nearly a decade, originating new relationships for the bank.

 

Damien’s previous experience includes significant roles with Metcash, Australia’s leading wholesale distribution and marketing company, where he served as Head of Group Credit and NSW State Commercial Manager. Additionally, Damien was a founder and sourced seed capital for the USA-based start-up Koin Systems Inc., a company pioneering Neuro Resilience Training programs for physical and mental health, where he continues to serve as Chairman. He has also served on investee company boards and has extensive experience liaising with and presenting to senior executives and board members. In a prior role, Damien established a direct equity investment business, including a position on the Investment Committee for the Mirvac International Wholesale Hotel Fund, which acquired several hotels across Australia in 2007, later sold to the Accor Group in 2011 for the Lloyds Banking Group. Damien brings extensive experience in challenging businesses to optimize performance for investors, owners, and lenders across all stages of the business lifecycle.

Pretar Harris

Pretar Caroline Harris is a seasoned real estate professional with 22 years of experience across Australia, the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. She is the Senior Vice President of Investments in Real Estate at Brookfield Asset Management. Her expertise spans development management, investment, portfolio management, asset/fund management, and project financing. She has a strong track record of managing multi-billion-dollar budgets, negotiating complex agreements, and leading teams to success. Pretar is renowned for her strategic advisory role with governments, corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices in the real estate sector.

David A

David is a 30-year veteran within the Israel’s globally renowned Intelligence Service, under The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. David has recently retired from the service moving into the private sector, whilst taking 30 (plus) years of leadership, field experience, and life lessons with him. David has a B.A Degree Middle Eastern Studies, M.A Degree Law Studies.

During David’s career he was engaged as the ‘Special Director in Charge’ of the ‘Secret Connections Program’ For the State of Israel, in the Arabian Gulf. David was the ‘Senior Managing Director’ in the Israeli Special Operations Directorate’. David served as an Operational Officer in the Israeli Defence Force’s most elite unit the ‘Navy Seal Commando Unit’.

Peter O’Malley

Chairman of Board

Peter J O’Malley is the founder of Kenosis Capital LLC, which was founded in 2012.

Mr O’Malley is US based investment finance executive, Mr O’Malley’s experience includes 13 years at Credit Suisse and later managing Deutsche Bank’s HK Natural Resources investment banking practice in Asia-Pacific. Peter has experience advising on M&A, debt/equity transactions, and capital optimisation strategies in multiple jurisdictions

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Canaccord Genuity Asia Ltd., Canaccord Genuity (Hong Kong) Ltd., and an Independent Non-Executive Director at Bonterra Resources, Inc. He is also a Member of the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Mr. O’Malley has held former positions as the Non-Executive Chairman at Celsius Resources Ltd in 2012, Independent Director at Barnwell Industries, Inc. from 2020 to 2021, Non-Executive Director at West Wits Mining Ltd. From 2020 to 2024, and Head-Natural Resources Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank (Canada Branch). Mr. O’Malley received his undergraduate degree from Siena College and his graduate degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1991.
